Supporting school counsellors
An experience that brings future choices to life.
Choosing a university subject can be difficult. Students may know which subjects they enjoy at school without knowing where those interests could lead or what studying them at a higher level will really involve.
Our programmes complement the guidance already provided by school counsellors and careers teams by giving students the opportunity to explore subjects through experience.
Informed choices
Students do not simply hear about a subject. They experience it.
Through university-style lectures, small seminars and practical workshops, students can explore whether a subject genuinely interests them, how it is studied and which areas they want to investigate further.
The aim is not to tell students what they should study. It is to help them discover their own direction.

More than a summer course
Give students something meaningful to draw upon.
A student might analyse evidence in a mock legal case, develop and present a business idea, explore clinical techniques in a Medicine workshop or collaborate on an engineering challenge.
These experiences do not guarantee entry to university, nor are our programmes part of any university admissions process. They can help students speak more thoughtfully about what they explored, what challenged them and how the experience shaped their choices.
They leave with more than another activity for their application. They leave with something real to say.

We welcome groups from schools, school networks and government or Ministry of Education programmes. Students join age-appropriate courses while experiencing the wider benefits of an international residential summer school.

Since 2004, Academy Royale International has welcomed more than 50,000 students from over 175 countries. Our experienced residential teams provide supervision and support throughout the programme, with staff available around the clock, and students receive a full induction and know who to speak to if they need help.

Complimentary accommodation may be provided for teachers accompanying qualifying groups, subject to group size, capacity and agreed terms.

Yes. We can arrange an online information session outside the school day and answer questions directly.

Our programmes do not guarantee admission and are not part of any university admissions process. They provide experiences that help students understand and discuss their interests.
Programmes are based on campus in colleges of the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Students study with Academy Royale International, not with the universities.
