This programme is designed for bright, driven students with an interest in any area of Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The course is perfect students who are excited about stepping into the Business world by advancing their knowledge and skills in the field and about spending a summer living and studying in one of our inspiring locations.

No prior experience of Business is needed. It doesn’t matter if you have no academic or family experience of Business, because it is designed as the perfect introduction to the subject. For students who do have prior experience, this course is designed to challenge your existing understanding and deepen it through practical application of ideas.

The course balances high standards of classroom learning with exciting and creative tasks to ensure learning remains inspiring and fun. Students are guided the whole way by our expert team of faculty and residential staff, and hard work is balanced with a varied and fun social programme.

The course combines lectures and seminars with a heavy focus on developing essential skills through hands-on learning. Students experience simulated business practice, negotiations and financial management, applying and deepening their learning in a hands-on way.

The course is the perfect preparation for a career in business. By developing the critical thinking, analysis and leadership skills which are not taught in schools, students leave the programme with advantageous strengths. The project-based learning style in which students work collaboratively to create and develop business ideas can form the basis of a compelling portfolio for university or job applications.

While every day with Academy Royale International is unique, mornings generally consist of a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops. After lunch, students have another extended workshop where they put the morning’s learning into practical use. After this, and in breaks throughout the day, students are kept busy between socialising, exploring their host city, and taking part in our social programme.

The programme takes place in one of two inspiring campuses in the historic colleges of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Whichever location they choose, students have access to university-level facilities and teaching spaces.

By teaching in small groups, we ensure that each student has a personalised relationship with their tutor. This means they receive high-quality constructive feedback and any support they need in class. It also means that students bond with their classmates, creating a friendly atmosphere in which students get involved and ask questions with confidence.

Yes. Academy Royale International welcomes students from around the world and provides residential pastoral support throughout.

At the end of the course, students receive a certificate acknowledging their achievements. In their graduation pack, they also receive a personalised report and detailed grades. For students considering university study, these make great supporting documents for applications.
