Ready to put your English lessons to real use? English Explorer was created for ambitious teenagers, designed to build confidence and fluency through immersive projects, personalised electives, and a summer of independence, teamwork, and exploration.
English Explorer treats language not just as a subject, but as a tool to communicate, debate, and resolve real-world issues. Hands-on projects and fascinating excursions build speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while a focus on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking help English develop naturally in authentic situations.

Every day balances two core English lessons with personalised electives, chosen from three pathways: Academic, Creative, or Get Active. By exploring an area of real interest, students connect to their passions, growing more confident in English, and building the skills necessary for success.
English Course
Customise your English course with electives
Two lessons each morning, built around global themes designed to encourage discussion and critical thinking. Explore topics as varied as Epic Journeys, Nation of Innovation, Cities of the Future, and Sustainable Planet. Students work together to investigate, debate, and problem-solve in English, strengthening analytical thinking alongside the core skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Academic electives:
Deepen critical thinking through Mixed Media Journalism, Young Changemakers, Presentations & Debates, and Build, Test, Improve.
Creative Electives:
Channel your interests with hands-on experience in film-making, cooking, design and textiles, content creation, photography, sketching, and performing arts.
Get Active electives:
Strengthen mind and body while playing football, tennis, netball, swimming, water polo, cricket, dance, yoga, and more!
From ARI's Got Talent to the Graduation Party, evenings are where real friendships happen. Every activity is built for teenagers, giving students the confidence and independence to shape their own social summer, entirely in English.

English Explorer takes students beyond the classroom into moments that matter: pitching a business idea to industry experts, presenting a project at Exhibition Evening, negotiating plans with people they only just met. Every one of those situations demands and develops a strong grasp of English, and builds the confidence that comes only from using a language to achieve real results.

No. English Discovery welcomes all levels from A1 upward. The course is built to grow your child's confidence from wherever they're starting.
English Discovery lessons are academically structured, but the focus is on applying English to projects, team challenges, and creative endeavours, ensuring learning never feels like a chore.
Very. Electives and optional Academies mean students learn through doing from day one, whether that's pitching a business, filming a scene, or working together on the sports field.
Mornings feature two core English lessons built around global themes. Afternoons are for electives, or an optional Academy for those who've added one. Twice a week, a full-day excursion replaces the afternoon session entirely.
