For the second consecutive summer, students on Academy Royale International’s Oxford programmes have the opportunity to study artificial intelligence through the MIT RAISE FutureBuilders programme, enhancing their summer school experience with a structured AI curriculum and an official MIT RAISE certificate.

The FutureBuilders pathway has been developed by MIT’s Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education initiative and is delivered through Pharos Education. Students explore the fundamentals of AI and the ethical questions surrounding its use.

Upon completion of the programme, students receive an official MIT RAISE certificate recognising their participation. For students thinking ahead to university applications and future careers, this is something tangible to take away from the course.

Alongside the wider academic and personal experience of studying at Academy Royale International, students demonstrate completion of a defined programme in an area of increasing importance across almost every industry.

After an initial programme in summer 2026, FutureBuilders is an established part of the Academy Royale International academic experience in Oxford.

It reflects a wider ambition for our programmes: to combine the experience of an international summer school with globally relevant, future-focused learning.

Academy Royale International has welcomed students from more than 175 countries over the past two decades. Through partnerships such as MIT RAISE, we continue delivering subjects, ideas and credentials that help prepare these students for their futures.
